Who wants more pictures?

Zak got a little sunburned hanging out with Hannah at the pool.

Ohhhh!

Here is Gus!! He tried to run away a couple of times, but we still love him!

we sure had fun this morning...he was a little shy though!

Ok, not shy anymore

Zak's hair is getting a little long, don't you think?

But it's cute!

We went to play in the water fountain in Old Town a couple weeks ago with dad. We ate dinner at the River City Brewery (excelent place to eat or drink, I might add) then walked over to the Warren Old Town area. You can kinda see the fountains in the background. Zak was so funny! There were 3 teenage girls there who were drenched! Zak watched them for a while then I finally got him to stick his foot in the water. He didn't like that it got the rest of his leg wet. So dad and I were sitting there talking and Zak started to get braver and braver by the minute. The girls were rooting him on as he would run down the isle's between the fountains. Then he would run down them while they were shooting. VERY slowly he was getting a little damp, then he was finally drenched. The girls finally left and he got kinda borred without a cheer squad there for him so we took off for the cars. When we got back to the cars we said goodbye to Grandpa Jack. Zak was soaking wet, but I convinced him it would be funny to hug grandpa before we left. He thought that was great, getting dad all wet. I am sure dad enjoyed it too. I konw he loves every minute he gets to spend with Zak, I just wish we had more time in our lives to get together and share those special moments.

Transformers...

Happy birthday time for Zak!!

Everyone is invited to join us for Zak's 5th birthday party at our house! We will be having a get-together on Sunday, August 19th at 2pm. We will have cake and ice cream, gifts, and lots of fun. Since this is Zak's favorite movie of the summer (he has only seen it two or three times in the theater so far) it is our theme.

He has asked for anything related to the movie...action figures, clothes with transformers on them (size 5-6 or XS in boys). Mommy has one request, no batteries, please....these may get left when we come to visit!! hahaha

We hope you will be able to make it down to wichita to join in the fun. Hope to see you soon!

More random pictures of Zak to come...

I have a question

Why doesn't GG have a blog yet? I know you check this every day. Don't you think that your grand kids (and the rest of the family) would like to check to see what is new in your life? Just putting it out there for you to think about.....

A little bit of news...

So if you haven't heard yet, which I doubt anyone has....we have purchased a new business!!! Yeah!! It has been fun so far, but I am sure that may change later in life.
So for the details...we bought Bug Busters here in town from a nice guy named Cy. He has helped us get set up with the phone line, computer program and even giving Jason a lesson on how it works on Thursday.
The website is in my links on the right side of the page www.pestfreewichita.com Don't look yet cause we are still setting it up. I am trying to figure a few more things out before it is ready. We had some business cards, business card magnates and post cards made to send to the existing 700-ish customers in the database. The calls have started and Jason has been running all over town to introduce himself as Pest Free. So far, so good.
For some reason, he is tired after a long day working....imagine that!!

I am sorry!

I know it has been a while since I posted. So for those of you who check every day, every week, or once in a blue moon...here are some new pictures from my cell phone. (I sure hope this works ok)
Zak
For anyone who doubted that Zak would love his bike...here ya go!

I know this is crazy, to take a picture while driving, but this was the best the roads looked all day! Keep in mind this was last saturday, during our big smow storm and about 1 pm. The girls and I at work were really hungry and the delivery time was 2 hours...there was no way we were going to wait that long!

Christmas reading books with Grandma Hazel. Reading with Grandpa Jack and Baby Abbie (not really a baby anymore but Zak thinks that is really her name).
Rock On!!!
